The culinary delights for which we are known
Our Adriatic sea is rich in sought after species. The main marine resources are fish (anchovies, sardines, mullet, sole, brill, sea bream, sea bass, flounder), crustaceans (littoral crabs, mantis shrimp, gray shrimp and penaeus shrimp), musky octopus, squid, cuttlefish and bivalve molluscs (venus mussels, mussels, clams) that are bred in the Po Delta lagoon.
